Lost entrances...

Has anyone else had their entrances "disappear"?

Anyone have a clue what's going on? 4 pages of discussion on the forum, not one comment from a mod....

I know what you mean playboy......and there is one idiot who is spamming that topic, despite my plea for him to calm down......

Apparently it is very possible that it is a bug but since none of the mods have answered, all it means is that the TWG gods haven't informed anyone of anything....

Yeah.. noticed that.

I hope when they mean "rollback", they don't mean that we'll lose what we've done in the last 48/72 hours. That's usually what it means if they have to rollback the server.

Well, I sure hope that they doesn't mean that we're going to lose ALL the entrances, and have to start it from the 0. And... Well, I don't know what they'll do...

well if i lost all my entrances.... straight up I would restart.

No, it appears they're just going to roll back the last 48-72 hours. When we do a rollback after unsuccessful changes at work, we have pretty much lost whatever we have done during that time frame. It's like using the system restore thing on your computer... brings everything back to whatever date you select.

No, because we're doing this for the sake of progress - not because it's fun!

But you never know... I'm not stopping matches.

The game may be using multiple servers and may only need to roll back one. Since we don't know the structure, you can't be sure what will happen as a result. Don't stop matches just in case.

I'm not stopping, too. ^^

From what I understand, the rollback is ONLY going to be on entrances. Therefore, as long as you do not buy any entrances right now, you'll be fine.

In addition, the problem has made it's way over to the Hardcore version...

you know, i bet it has something to do with that new server they are trying to bring in. Its just a guess but never had a problem with entrances once since i've been here and they said something about bringing a new server in at the beginning of this month

Anytime you make a change like that, things can go wrong. The thing is... you need to test the hell out of it before you do it. They seem to be coders only. Coders think they know everything and don't do anything wrong. Testers and Quality Assurance people exist because this is not the case.

Ok, I need everyone to start posting in here how many entrances you are suppose to have, Stone Cold wants all GM's to send the Entrances of their rosters to him so that when they do the rollback, they can make sure everyone gets back what they are supposed to have.

1. Before entrance:
Coloured lights before (24)
2. Titan tron:
Introduction Video (23)
3. Vehicle:
Ferrari 360 Modena (23)
5. Ring:
Pyros at the four corners of the ring (23)

and I don't remember exactly matt cast's entrance... I think it was about 23 entrances...

Justin is at 120......24 in each

i had 220 entrances total i believe. (60), (50), (50), and (60)

To quote the Chairman: "If memory serves me correctly..."

Companion: 3 Paparazzi (25-30)
Ring: Pyros at the four corners of the ring (25-30)

I don't remember if I raised them from 25.
