~It was around midnight and he was still in the arena. Somewhere he heard the sound of a strong vacuum cleaner, comparing his new job as a professional wrestler with the one, those cleaning lady's used to have~

Playtime: "Yeah sure I got the better end."

~His fingers turned over the page in the wrestling magazine on his knees. It was an old one with people in there who have to use a wheelchair today and there were more of these papers alongside with him. Some were laying on the ground~

Playtime: "Maybe some kind of nobleman. Old style."
*
~He turned more and more pages over, finding some wrestler who did this in the 90s...~
*
Playtime: "Damn it. There must be some Gimmick which has not been taken already. This can't be more difficult than winning a match in this damn ring."

~He tossed the magazine to the ground, looking to the roof of the arena. His neck was aching. How long had he been here? 2 hours? The show was over ages ago. In a few hours they would come and demount the ring. He pulled himself together and got up, grabbing the magazines and making his way to locker rooms~
*
Playtime: "Maybe I could just be myself...Maybe the people like this."
*
~Smiling to the left and right, he strolled from the center of the arena to that which was the X-Tron only some hours ago. He stopped, turning around and looking to the ring. He tried some poses and a few ways to wave to the crowd. It would not be very long until he would make his way down from here to the ring and try to beat his first opponent in front of all those people~

Playtime: "Yeah, I'm sure, they'll like it. I just need to exaggerate a bit. Maybe some gold. Cool sunglasses. perfect haircut and maybe a woman? nah...no woman."

~He turned to the locker rooms again and left the arena~

If it sounds melancholic, i didn't get it the tone right. Must be because I'm not a native speaker it was meant to be somehow.. funny... You know. The new guy. No idea of what's going on

Don't get me wrong, I thought it was funny too. But I think a new guy tryoing to fit in is kind of heart-warming.

And don't worry about not being a native speaker. I'm not, and half the roster probably isn't either, so you'll fit in just fine.

I'm with Patrik. I like how it's just your thoughts. Maybe "melancholic" isn't the word, but more like "reflective". I am interested as to where this is going. "Here is a guy trying to find himself". That is the vibe I got. I have never thought of that angle.
