Your Weekly Sermon

~The crackling sound of distant thunder rolls over the arena, and multiple bolts of lightning hit the stage. The sound of angelic hymns roll over the crowd as Saint Patrik slowly enters the stage. He is dressed in his wrestling outfit; a shiny white bulletproof vest with a crimson cross on it. His gleaming smile is still perfectly white, his brown hair is pulled back into a long ponytail, his black beard is perfectly groomed. He is the image of holiness. He slowly walks towards the ring, not giving the booing crowd even a glance. The boos are deafening, but his confident smile is unshakeable. As he enters the ring, he speaks into the microphone:~

"My dear lamb..."

~The crowd goes insane, booing even louder than last week, but Saint Patrik's smile is untouchable as he slowly shakes his head. As the crowd's roar dies down, he speaks again:~

"Once again I stand before you victorious. Once again, I kept my word to you. The young Pedro Rhormes was taken to Sunday school, and he will surely remember my sermon. This unholy place has taken yet another step towards becoming a lounge of light, a cave of cleanliness, a temple of truth - all because of my powerful leadership!"

~Saint Patrik closes his eyes, fills his lungs with fresh air and exhales slowly. He opens his eyes and speaks in his strong voice:~

"My dear congregation... This weeks sermon is about having the courage to take a stand. We are in a holy crusade against the sinners and heathens in this very wrestling corporation. But we must understand that our fight against the uncleanliness is not only a fight against the filthy and unclean. It is also a fight against the cowards and the spineless ones. I would say that we, my dear lambs, are in a war against the silent majority, the ones that dare not speak their minds. In fact, it is the silent evil-doers that condone the filth through their inability to speak, to act, to stand up for what is true and righteous. They need to be taught how to act, how to carry themselves in the face of evil, and especially... they need to be taught what to believe!"

~The crowd boos him, but Saint patrik doesn't flinch:~

"I would go as far as saying that if you are not with us, you are against us!"

~Saint Patrik raises his arm and points towards the stage while speaking:~

"With those words I believe I have properly introduced my opponent. He has never had an opinion. He has never shown what he believes. He has not stood up against the whoremongering in the lockerroom. He is probably the most spineless of them all - Johnny Groove!"

Great stuff.

Thanks for the feedback, glad you like the stuff. When I worked as a prison guard the other guards sometimes called me "The Reverend", so I guess this part comes naturally to me...

An interview segment is a very good idea, strange I didn't think of that myself. If I use some inactive guys it has the potential to tear down the house, or maybe I could play the host to a certain main eventer (you know who you are!). Darth has come up with some really cool ideas as well, but you just have to watch the upcoming shows for those!

The "Iconic Status" is the Interview Segment that Jeremy does every now and then..... as is the "VDoP"....

It's hard to say which one is the best but if you have a look at past shows you'll get the picture.

Aaaaah, you mean THAT Iconic Status! I thought it was actual WWE segments - especially considering the mentioning of Brother Love. See, I wasn't so stupid after all!

VDoP = Vulgar Display of Power. If you want the best of the best, check out this show.
