Playboy in GM's office... - XFA 06/18 - finished

~A close up of the Network Executive is shown in his office processing paperwork. The sound of the door opening and closing is heard. He looks up from his papers and stands. While lifting from his chair, the camera zooms out and shows The Playboy standing in front of his desk, resulting in cheers from the crowd. The Network Exec extends his hand to Playboy~

Network Executive: “Mr. Andrews...nice to see you.”

~Playboy looks down to the exec’s hand and then back up to make eye contact, not shaking the hand~
*
Playboy (looking around): "Umm...where is Worthy?...Thought for sure this was his office."
*
Network executive: "Well...for the time being it is his office. But not for long. There are going to be some changes in the near future, since I'll be getting this contract from him."

~Playboy smirks a bit and rubs his chin, playing along like that's not going to happen~

Playboy: "Changes?"
*
Network Executive: "Yes...changes. Let me ask you one thing, Paul. I can call you Paul, right?...."
*
Playboy: "No...you can't. It's Playboy."
*
~The crowd cheers at Playboy's response and the facial reaction by the network executive who is somewhat shocked at the defiance~

Network Executive: "Well...Playboy...how do you like it back here in XFE?"
*
Playboy: “There's not much to say, yet. Bo$$...Kangjagal...Cassandra Cain? Really? The Playboy is one of the best, if not THE best, there is here...that was proven a long time ago. I'm not here to waste my time."

Network Executive: "Unfortunately, Mr. Playboy...you need to realize that one of the changes we are going to need to make is you."

Playboy (chuckling): "Me?"

Network Executive: "Yes...you. You see...this network is going PG. This show is going to need to go along with the program. Although there are a lot of wholesome values shown here on this program, there are some parts that don't...how would you say...fit. A womanizing party-all-the-time type with a different woman on his arm every show with the filthy mouth like yours isn't going to meet the PG requirement."

~Playboy laughs, then gets serious look on his face, leans forward over the desk to get face to face with the network exec.~

Playboy: "What you fail to realize is that this show right here has BUILT your network. People tune in to your network for XFE programming. XFE programming ratings are through the roof, more so now that The Playboy has returned. If you'd loosen your tie and let a little blood get to your shrunken brain, you would see that the XFE shows are a cash cow for your network, not the other (censored) you guys show. The ratings for all your other programming just don't rate against XFE programs. It's not that they're not in the same ball park...they're not on the same damn planet. You want watered-down shows, your network is going to be all washed up."

~Playboy turns to walk away, then returns~
*
Playboy: "You want to change The Playboy? You think I have a filthy mouth? Well (censored) (censored) (censored) (censored) (censored) (censored) you (censored) (censored) piece of (censored) (censored)."

~Playboy walks away, leaving the network executive leaning over his desk. The network executive begins to smile and nod his head as the scene fades to black~
