Jay's thoughts on tag match... (XFW)

David Hood: "Up next is what promises to be an explosive tag team match as the Champion and Boss Sentinel teams up with 'The Natural' Jesse Blue against a man that has been making waves left and right for weeks in Jay Thorn and Renegade."

Matt Scott: "I like Jay's new attitude. What I don't like, is his chances tonight."

David Hood: "Well, thankfully, what we think really doesn't count. What does count is what the competitors think. And with that, Marc Ellis is standing by with Jay Thorn for his thoughts."

~The camera cuts backstage, where Jay is standing next to Marc Ellis, wearing his wrestling gear and ring vest. He has a frustrated look on his face as he checks his black wrist tapes~

Marc Ellis: "Jay, in just a matter of moments your teaming up with Renegade against the man you beat last week in Jesse Blue and the man you're facing in one week for the XFE World Heavyweight Title, Sentinel. What are your thoughts heading in?"

~Jay holds his head down and laughs a bit~

Jay Thorn: "My thoughts? What... are my thoughts? My thoughts are, why Renegade? Because he calls himself something he wishes he was while I am? Because I have proven that I am the loose cannon that so many people here wish they could be? See, we all know why it's Sentinel and Jesse Blue. It's because their pissed off at me for not letting us sit through yet another series of matches between them. Because they don't like the fact that instead of us sitting through yet another morbidly predictable match where Sentinel rises above to retain his title against Jesse, now we have him against me. But why Renegade?"

~Jay looks up but no smile is on his face~

Jay Thorn: "Why not Jack Power? Or how about Covenant? Or Argo, he wants to rid us of greed so those two should be at the top of his list. Or get this.... Why not my tag team partner? Why not Pitbull? The answer.... Set up to lose. Let's face it, on one hand, you have the two guys that have been trading wins while competing for the XFE Title, having us sit through an intolerable love fest for months. And while I can win against either man, my partner... Hasn't done anything in this company."

~Jay looks up and the smile comes back on his face~

Jay Thorn: "But that's okay, it really is."

~Jay looks back down, directly at the camera~

Jay Thorn: "Maybe I pull out the upset. Maybe I surprise everyone and I actually win tonight. Suddenly I have even more momentum for this company to try and waste. Suddenly, I go from having the momentum of a Hogan, to the momentum of an Austin. And even if I lose tonight, so what? I get the losers share of the purse, like I really need the money that bad. What really is important, isn't tonight. What's important is in one week."

~Jay's smile is long gone, knowing the seriousness of the situation~

Jay Thorn: "One week from tonight, I will face Sentinel for the XFE Title. And while it might have at first seemed like simply an upstart wanting his shot at the top, it's so much more. See, I'm not just fighting for a reign at the top. Saint Patrick's Days Massacre will see if XFE truly is what we talk about. America calls itself the land of opportunity and this Sunday it's all about opportunity. Opportunity for me.... And for XFE."

~The camera zooms in to Jay, a focus in his eyes that has everybody's attention~

Jay Thorn: "I'm the guy representing the young guys. The Young Gunz. The first true Young Gun to ever get a title shot here. And in one week, one of two things will happen. Either I win, and we all see that door opening. We see this company having a future worth watching as you don't have to be part of the original people in this company to make it. Or I lose... Everything me and Jake did for the last year, everything me and Pitbull did before that to make our way up is flushed down the drain. Sentinel will continue his reign, there will be no room for the us on the top, as usual."

~Jay looks down and sighs, before lifting his head~

Jay Thorn: "Tonight, I will fight. Win or lose. But in one week, I'll fight again. And I can't.... WE can't afford for me to lose. Because everything we have is riding on this one punk kid to come out on top when all the chips are down. So I won't lose. I can't."
