On Saturday 21st June 2008 at Coventry Skydome here in England, I attended Pro Wrestling NOAH's European Navigation Show.

To say it was awesome would be an understatement.

Before the event I met and talked to Bryan Danielson, Jay Briscoe, Bison Smith, KENTA, Naomichi Marafuji, Ishimori, Mohammed Yone, Takeshi Morishima, Suzuki and undoubtedly the greatest wrestler of all-time: Kenta Kobashi !!!

They were all really cool, and the show was incredible!

Afterwards, I was on my way to my car having a smoke, and who should I walk past taking a cigarette break? None other than the legend Mitsuharu Misawa, he didn't understand what I was saying but I still managed to get a photo.

Did anyone else go to the event? Has anyone been to any Indy events? Does anyone follow NOAH, ROH etc?

Just on Friday evening I took the family, drove 2 hours each direction to see a show with Psycho Sid, Abdullah The Butcher, Sylvain Grenier and Pierre Carl Ouelette. Psycho Sid is still frikkin' HUGE! Abdullah, well, is also huge, in a totally different way, and still gives out plenty of blood. My buddy left that night with Abdullah's bloody fork.

Cool. I can remember watching Ouellette when I was a kid back in the early 90's when he tagged with Jacques Rougeau as The Quebecers.

Yeah, it's too bad dude is blind in one eye - he's still in shape to go, but he's stuck in little indy shows. Sid's only reason he's stuck in indys is because he can't pass the WWE drug testing program....
