| How to interact with the chilean Crowd:Well, I will try to give you some tips that can be usefull to make your RPs, thinking on the Arena Santtiago 9/17 show. Try to use it wisely, and, if you have some doubt, just ask
- Chile celebrate the independence day at 9/18, so, this year it means a really long party weekend.
- We speak spanish.
- At any show, the crowd react as in a Soccer a match. Indeed, any chant sounds pretty similar to any argentinian soccer match. Or english soccer match. If you can, try to listen some chants at youtube. You can try at: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=saej4vjQnSk
- As you can guess, the most important sport is soccer. The most popular soccer team is Colo Colo. Some soccer players that you colud had listen before are Elías Figueroa, Iván Zamorano or Marcelo Salas. Other known sportsman is Fernando González, at tennis.
- Still in soccer: Last sunday Chile lose against Brazil 3-0 (in Chile), and win 4-0 over Colombia (in Chile again, last wednesday) [All this is for the Southafrica 2010 Contry Worldcup]. As country, Chile loves soccer, but usually sucks playing it. Chile feels envy of Brazil and Argentina.
- Chile and Argentina, as adjacents countries, dont have really goods relationships. For the chilean crowd, argentinians are arrogants and haughties. For argentinians, chileans are rude, unpolite, ignorants. Both sides are right.
- Chile is well know for the Wines, the Pisco (disputed with Peru about his born place), salmon and Copper. Well, we are also know for Pinochet, a militar dictator.
- About the last: Last 9/11 was the 34 anniversary of the coup d'état Pinochet did against Allende, the socialist presindent of the moment. CIA still have Top Secret files about this.
- The traditional Chilean music its a kind of folk. Some musicians who performed chilean music were Violeta Parra and Víctor Jara. At this moment, postmodernity makes our popular music really mixed.
- At literature, Chile have two Nobels: Gabriela Mistral and Pablo Neruda. Both of them were poets. Indeed, there is a typical sentence that says: "Chile, país de poetas" ("Chile, land of poets").
If you need more info, go to wikipedia Nah, just send a PM. If you need help with any translation, you can ask me, too.

Works better with an Argentina jersey. Or a Boca Juniors [Most popular soccer team in argentina] jersey.

| Plus soccer has less boundaries and more movement in it. Plus it was Joe Cole who got injured taken out a stretched and then just came back all happy and sunshines which really pissed me of because Kovac got sent of for that and now I better stop before I talk about that game!! | |

Kovac deserve the red card! Cole went off with blood gushing from his head. Face it, Croatia got turned over in their own back yard. However, as a big Spurs fan I should point out that both Luka Modric and Vedran Corluka were not responsible for such a humiliating defeat.

| Its simple..................... A big load of bullshit, a bullshit call sending Kovac and he acme like 10 or 20 mintues fine. He gets taken out of a stretcher Kovac is sent of (before the rest of the goals are scored) and 10 or 20 minutes later comes back in some suit walking in around and laughing with the mangers and the coach. Plus even if it was serious it was clearly his fault if you saw the replay he was basically jumping into Kovac and he didnt even raise his arms for protection like you should be doing when in a head on head for the ball in the air. But ill take comfort in knowing that it has been awhile since you beaten us. | |

| Ever since last week we have been arguing about this. You and I both know that it is virtually impossile to jump in the air and keep your balance without raising your arms. But we both also know that in international matches if you do that and give someone a big cut that looks as bad as his did you might get sent off. Probably a harsh decision by the ref but not unheard of. A legal challange in football either on the ground when running or in the air is shoulder to shoulder. Refs are told to look for flying elbows and that is what was Kovac's problem. A yellow card would have done fine. Joe Cole (who plays for Chelsea who I hate and I think is a smarmy git) did not fake his injury. He got a bad cut from it and a concussion. This argument has been stirred up by other posters who think footballers are poofs who fake injury (which is true sometimes but not in this case). As for the match. Yes it would have been better if it had finished 11 against 11. But again I think we both know that England would still have won. Up to the sending off Croatia had only 1 shot on target. They were not a threat and didnt not have anyone to handle Wallcotts pace. Anyway. We have hijacked a thread for this. Maybe we should put a football thread in the general chat about this. Croatia are our bogey team and I exepcted a draw from the match last week. English fans are over the moon about the win after being beaten so often by Croatia. I look forward to the rematch next September. | |

| Im serious look at the replay you can see him pretty much jumping into his arm and I even I and everyoen I see play raise there arms for a header mainly to get more power. But lets just stop this discussion right now because I always tend to have toruble forgetting about screwed up things in Croatias matches. Example im still pissed of about that offside goal Harry Qewel (Kewel I dont know how you spell it) scored at the 06 world cup against Croatia. Yea I have trouble just letting go | |

Have a look at this. YouTube 1) Kovac is behind Cole. Cole cant see him coming (nobdoys fault) and so he cant be accused of 'jumping into him'. They are both going for the ball. 2) Joe Cole jumps with both arms above head height! What more protection can he give himself? 3) Kovac wins the header and the elbow is accidental. So it should have been a foul or possibly a yellow card. It is probably because he was behind Cole and tackles from behind are supposed to get a card that he ends up sent off. 4) I understand Croatian's getting upset as at the end of the clip after Cole has been stiched up he looks very happy. Now lets sign a peace treaty over this and agree that if I am ever in Australia you will buy me a beer. OK?

| Only if you buy me one if im ever at England. Oh and just a question but is it usual for someone to be standing and once they notice blood on there head they fall to the ground?? I dont know if that was a dive or not but you cant blame anyone for getting just a little bit suspicous.
