| David Hood: "This has been some night of action so far, but right now, I want to take a step back a bit. Because over the course of the last three plus years, we've heard a lot of talk from the D.A.S but there's never been a chance to conduct a proper interview with them." * Matt Scott: "Oh no..." * David Hood: "Well, earlier tonight I had a chance to sit down with the two and get some of the questions that need answers out for the brothers." * ~The camera cuts to a studio, where David Hood is sitting down in a fine suit and next to him is a couch that Jay and Pitbull are sitting in. Jay is wearing his trademark ripped jeans with a chain, an Affliction t-shirt and leather bracelets on both hands. Pitbull on the other hand is wearing jeans and a white t-shirt adorned with black skulls and has the Universal-X Title on his lap~ * David Hood: "Alright guys, this is the first formal interview conducted with the two of you in the XFE. Now, while neither of you are XFE Originals in the sense that you weren't here when the company was started, you are two of the longer term members of the roster having been here for over three years non-stop. How do you see that the XFE has changed?" * ~Pitbull straightens himself up as he takes the question~ * Pitbull: "I think the most important change has been the Young Gunz Division. You see, this company added initially titles like the Extreme Fight Title but recently that was retired. We had the core group of guys, the XFE Originals, who some started at the top and some didn't but the current crop of main eventers are mainly composed of them. There have been some exceptions to this, such as STB and Gobeer, but the main event scene is dominated by the originals. And kudos to them, they've earned their spot by being here from the start but the Young Gunz Division has been the biggest change because it's brought out the guys who have brought a fresh wind here, like us and Danny Young and STB and Vince Noir etc." * David Hood: "Fair enough." * ~David Hood checks his question card which is next~ * David Hood: "Now, Jay, you debuted a while before Natural Selection '08 with Pitbull debuting after the PPV. Right from the start, you made it clear you two were a team and really started teaming together after Super Force II. That makes you the longest running tag team in this company, not to mention you're the only team to hold two reigns as XFE World Tag Team Champions. Do you feel like you've raised the bar for tag team competition in the XFE and are you planning on raising it further with the Blood Family?" * ~Jay gets a slight smile on his face, as if amused by the question~ * Jay Thorn: "You need to understand something. We don't raise the bar, we ARE the bar. You can talk about your legendary tag teams like the NLO or the Cold-Blooded Killers or the Natural Born Thrillers. We've been a team longer, we've had more reigns than anybody and the so called best ever, the NTB's, we held the titles longer. Andrews or Cryl or anybody can spin this story around how ever they like, but WE'RE the standard here in XFE. And whenever we don't have the XFE Tag Team Titles, something ain't right." * ~David Hood nods, and moves on the next question~ * David Hood: "Now, you both have huge matches coming up at Chaos N' Mayhem but we've all heard about that. What the people want to know is with Super Force IV coming up, what are your goals going in to the show of the year?" * ~Jay smiles again and laughs a bit, looking directly at David~ * Jay Thorn: "Well, that's the funny thing David. Let me take you on a little stroll through memory lane. If you recall, at Super Force II, me and Pitbull were involved in the Young Gunz Title IT Match. *David nods* If you also recall, we both lost when a jabroni named Big Cop hit me in the back of the head with a nightstick." * ~Jay cracks his head from side to side, as if recalling how it felt~ * Jay Thorn: "Then at Super Force III, I was involved in the Three-Way TLC Match for the Extreme Fight Title. And lo and behold, Jake Adams hit me with brass knuckles to win that match. What about you, Joel? What happened to you at Super Force III?" * ~Pitbull looks down at his Universal-X Title~ * Pitbull: "I was in a Three-Way Submissions IT Match for this Title right here. And as I recall, I had John Deep beat and about to tap when I got hit in the back by Vince Noir who went on to making John tap out after I did all the work." * ~The brothers exchange glances~ * Jay Thorn: "So when it comes to Super Force IV, I think it's safe to say this man here is planning on defending his Universal-X Title all the way through the show. And me? Well, I've been screwed out of the Young Gunz and Extreme Fight Titles respectively at Super Forces II and III. So I would think it as poetic justice if I went on to win my first Major Title at Super Force IV." * David Hood: "But since you've only recently been promoted to the AGGRESSION Title Division, do you think that you'll be the number one contender by then?" * ~Jay smiles as the brothers exchange glances~ * Jay Thorn: "In a perfect world, these people would be given Jay Thorn vs Slugger one-on-one for the Title at Super Force. I think that's the match everyone wants to see. But honestly, I don't see anyone else but me pushing for it. But I'll tell you what, whether it's me and Slugger for the AGGRESSION Title or the D.A.S getting back our Tag Team Titles, we're not walking out of Super Force empty handed. Not this time." * David Hood: "Thank you for your time." * ~The brothers shake David's hand as the scene fades back to ringside~ * Matt Scott: "Wow, what a monumental waste of time." * David Hood: "You might think that but I think a lot of the XFE fans appreciated the insight into how the brothers genuinely feel with Super Force coming up." * Matt Scott: "I'll tell you what. These two just need to stop already and man up." * | |
