this may be a dumb question but wha exactly does the modificator that is underneath the wrestlers name mean

It means how much points you get if you win and how much you lose if your defeated

so if you vs a guy whos modificator is +40/-160 then if you win you gain 40 points if you lose then thats 160 points lost

I mainly challenge people around +100/-100 and if I think I can beat them then id also challenge +120/-80

i have beaten a few people with +200/-0

It is supposed to gauge how well a match-up you will have with the selected opponent, but it is widely manipulated level's 7 and lower because of the insane amount of level sitters. If I challenged someone with my stats they are all 0 +/- 200 on me. The supposed 'even' match-ups that the modificator thinks has all my opponents way above me statically. Example this is my current modifiers just taken less than 5 minutes of me writing this message.

So in theory I should not even be classed with these people, but through various factors including a) if they get challenged alot to raise and lower their score, b) they are point hording (which is pointless), c)they have bad builds, or d) I have a good build (unlikely)

They only people that are actually 100 +/- 100 in my stat range are people that have practically copied my build since I had some of it posted on the old forums that crashed; for which I am glad it did since I didn't know people would actually try and make a build point for point like someone elses lol, I only did it as a reference point to show what was needed and what I believed wasn't.

If you beat a guy with a modificator +200/-0 in a triple Threat match do you still win 200 points?

Yea the way the modificator works has always confused me with how it works in triple threats and elimination chambers

Only if you pin or make him submit. If he is in a match but you pinned the other person, you only get the modifier for that one person. Ina 3-way dance however, you get the modifier if you pin or make them submit both, otherwise you only get the modifier for the ones you take out of the match.
