Beliefs... (XFA)

~Suddenly the arena dims down and a video starts up on the X-Tron. In it, the camera pans through what seems to be a railway station with night slowly falling and it being dark with only the orange light from the poles shining. The bottom right corner says "Wednesday, after Guilty Conscience". The camera shows a lone man wearing jeans and a hips long black coat sitting on the platform swinging his legs a bit and throwing small stones across the tracks. As the camera closes in, it becomes apparent the man is Pitbull, which causes the crowd to cheer the now new Universal-X Champion. He has a contemplative look on his face as he throws another rock, clanging of the fence between the rails~

Pitbull: "You know, human beliefs are a funny thing. Especially beliefs of how this world we live in works and what makes it work."
*
~Pitbull throws another rock, clanging again off the fence. He opens up the top button of his jacket, making it a bit easier to breath as it's not on his throat anymore~
*
Pitbull: "You might believe in the system Jack has cooked up in his head. And maybe we all are just writings by some *bleep*ed up people on their computers and none of this is real. Although the soreness of my ankle would beg to differ on this being nothing but fiction."
*
~He throws another rock, this time flying over the fence and hitting the rail on the other side. He again opens a button, now revealing that he is wearing his "Ace of Spades" t-shirt~
*
Pitbull: "You might buy into the ramblings of Patrik that we we're created by an angry and vengeful god that we must please. In which case I'm damned to hell for my sins no matter what, which doesn't feel too tempting."
*
~Again he throws a rock over the fence, this time hitting the far side railing with a clang. After that, he opens another button, showing that something is wrinkling the lower part of his shirt~

Pitbull: "Me? I prefer to believe in causality. What is causality, you ask? It means that everything that happens has a cause and an effect. Example. Cause; Vince Noir tried to take me out. Effect; He managed to piss me off. Or, cause; In my pissed off state, I lock in the Crippler on Vince at Guilty Conscience and make him tap...."

~Pitbull grabs a rock, throws clear over the fence and the rails, landing on the next platform. He then opens the last button in his jacket and opens it, revealing the Universal-X Championship around his waist~
*
Pitbull: "Effect; I am now the new Universal-X Champion. I told you Vince, I'm sick of making others look good. I told you that it was my time. You thought you could take me out of your life but the fact of the matter is that I was the one who kicked you off my coat tails."
*
~Pitbull stands up with a smile on his face now~
*
Pitbull: "And here's another example of causality; I'm coming out right now. Let's see what the effect will be."
*
~The lights turn purple as "Scream" by Avenged Sevenfold blasts from the arena speakers, causing the crowd to jump up out of their seats. As the crowd is going nuts, Pitbull walks out in the same clothes as on the video, smiling from ear to ear~

Brandon Routh: "A homecoming to XFA for the new Universal-X Champion, "Pitbull" Joel Thorn."
*
Olivia Wilde: "Please welcome the NEW Universal-X Champion.... "Pitbuuuuull" Joel Thooooooooooornnnnnn!!!!!!"
*
Reggie Miller: "He was an idiot when he was on XFA and he's still an idiot. And I don't get what the big deal is, he just got lucky."
*
~Pitbull makes his way down, stopping by a group of fans holding a sign saying "Ace Fans Section", which causes his smile to broaden even more before he gets in the ring and gets mic~
*
Pitbull: "I would say that that's a damn good effect!"
*
Reggie Miller: "Cheap pop."
*
Brandon Routh: "Shush."
*
~The crowd pops for Pitbull, who continues smiling~
*
Pitbull: "You know what else feels damn good? The fact that after being here since Natural Selection of '09, I have finally....FINALLY! broken that glass ceiling and I am now the NEW Universal-X Champion!!"
*
~The crowd is going wild as Pitbull takes the title from around his waist, looks at it and then throws it over his shoulder~
*
Pitbull: "Not only does this make me now a three time champion here in the XFE, this is something I've needed for a long time. I've needed this moment to stand on my own in this spotlight for just too damn long."
*
~The crowd cheers as Pitbull seems like a weight has been lifted off his shoulders~
*
Pitbull: "You see, for all this time, I've been looked at as Jay's little brother. The other Thorn. I've been in his shadow and while I do love my brother to death and will gladly stand and die by his side, that shadow ate away at me."
*
~Pitbull stops, looks at the Universal-X Title and kisses it before continuing~
*
Pitbull: "But at Guilty Conscience, I stepped out of that shadow. At Guilty Conscience, I did what all those guys in the back we're whispering that I couldn't do. I finally broke the jinx and now I am the Universal-X Champion!"
*
~The crowd goes nuts as Pitbull looks all around him with a relieved smile~
*
Pitbull: "And from this day forward, I promise to make sure that no one will forget about this championship again. I promise that I will give this title the prestige that it deserves and I promise to show night in and night out why I am this company's 'Ace of Spades'."
*
~As the crowd cheers, Pitbull hoists the Universal-X Title high in the air, the belt shimmering in the lights~
*
Reggie Miller: "So he gets lucky and now he's the king of the world?"
*
Brandon Routh: "There was no luck to it, Reggie. This young man worked so hard to earn his first singles title and is rightfully enjoying it."
*
~As "Scream" by Avenged Sevenfold plays, Pitbull rolls out of the ring and walks back up the ramp, celebrating with his fans on the way back to the locker room~
