'OOOOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHH YEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAHHHH!!!!!'

R.I.P a true legend of Professional Wrestling.

I grew up watching the 'Macho King'. A fantastic in-ring performer, as well as being one of the most charasmatic and interesting wrestlers of any generation.

Gone but not forgotten.

I remember watching him as a youngster as well, even later in his career, I was always a huge fan. Christmas one yeah, me and my brother both got those action type figures of wrestlers... He was like "Ha ha ha ha, I got Hulk Hogan!!" and I replied "Who Cares... I got Macho Man!!!"

R.I.P Savage!!!!

I remember his debut in WWF. He has always been one of my favorites. Great mic skills, one of the greatest. He was the one who made me like bad guys better than good guys. That's how good he was.

A truly sad day for anyone who was a fan during the 'cartoony' wrestling days.

One of the few guys who people who don't even follow wrestling knew who he was.

Although we mourn the death, I truly believe that we are fortunate that he was the only one that perished. Veering across the median and on coming traffic, this could have been much more tragic than it was. I wouldn't be the least bit surprised to hear that, despite being in process of suffering heart failure, he did what he could to make sure no other vehicle was involved. That's just the type of guy he was.

I got a chance to meet him back in the late 80's just across the river in Hull. Despite being a pretty huge superstar at that point, he had the time to just shoot the breeze for a couple of minutes with some punk teenager that hung around to talk to him, get an autograph and share some laughs. You just don't get that these days from guys at that level.

RIP Randy.

I will always remember sitting in front of the TV watching the feud between him and Steamboat. Strange thing is that I was just a little kid, but I always wanted Randy to beat the snot out of Steamboat (even though I thought he went slightly out of line when he attacked him with the ringbell). Yeah, that's how good he was. Their match at WM3 will always stand out as one of the greatest Wrestlemania matches of all time.

Rest in peace, Randy.

The ringbell incident was not out of line. It was totally called for.
