Major Announcement (XFW Nov. 3)

~Jay and Pitbull make their way out to a standing ovation from the crowd in their street clothes and the tag titles firmly around their waists.~
*
Matt Scott: "What the?? Not these two goofs again..."
*
David Hood: "Well, their the tag team champions. That means they have to defend the titles against people from both brands and therefore are allowed on both shows."
*
Matt Scott: "I wish they would just tuck their tails between their legs and run back to the B-Show."
*
~Jay and Pitbull make their way down to the ring, posing on the turnbuckles with the titles held high. After a moment of soaking in the adulation from the crowd, Pitbull picks up a mic from ringside and they stand in the middle of the ring.~
*
Pitbull: "Well, well, well.... Looks like we got ourselves a bit of a wild crowd here tonight."
*
~The crowd cheers for the cheap pop as the brothers smile.~
*
Pitbull: "That's awesome. I wish we could just bottle up that fire from you guys tonight and put it under the entire XFE roster to make the competition here that much hotter."
*
~As the crowd continues to cheer, Pitbull gives the mic to Jay, who faces towards the back.~
*
Jay Thorn: "You see, now that we're champions, the winds of change are blowing around here. This isn't just empty hype or sweet talking the crowd. This is real!"
*
~The crowd starts a D.A.S chant as the brothers smile their signature smirk.~
*
Jay Thorn: "And to prove that point and to fire you boys in the back up and bring this tag team division up to where it deserves to be...."
*
~The crowd continues to chant and Pitbull points at the people, causing them to pop louder.~
*
Jay Thorn: "...And also to prove that we are the best team in the universe right now, we got a little bit of an announcement. An idea. Now, on Saturday we will handle some personal business but once that's done, next week we will begin the D.A.S Next Generation Tag Team Open Invitational... Or in short the D.A.S Open."
*
~Jay hands the mic to Pitbull who now also looks at the back.~
*
Pitbull: "How this works is next week on XFW and on every show possible from there, we will face one team in tag team title match. It doesn't matter who you are, where you're from, how long you've been in the XFE, what you've been and who you've beaten. We just don't care as long as it improves the tag team division."
*
~The crowd goes wild as Pitbull motions for them to settle down for a bit more so he can finish.~
*
Pitbull: "But there is a catch to this. One qualification that you have to fulfill to be eligible for this Invitational. You and you're partner together, must have never before had an opportunity at the World Tag Team Championships. This is to insure that we have new, fresh teams challenging for the titles."
*
~Another D.A.S chant can be heard as Pitbull gives the mic to Jay again.~
*
Jay Thorn: "Now, I know what you're thinking, we can't close out every team that's ever had a shot from the title picture. Nor do we want to. So here's what we'll do about that. After the last XFA before the big Pay Per View, we will take every tag team that has had a match this season and put them all in a poll for who should be given a title opportunity. And then the team.... experienced or not, who impressed the most this season and deserves a title shot, will face us at the PPV."

~The crowd goes wild for the idea as the brothers smile in the ring.~

Jay Thorn: "So boys... Lace up your boots and grab your tag partners. Next week on XFW and on every show after that until the PPV, someones getting their first ever shot at tag team gold around here. And by the time we're done, XFE will truly have the best tag team division in the universe."
*
Pitbull: "Bank on it."
*
~The crowd goes nuts for the idea as "Dignity" by Bullet For My Valentine begins to play again and the brothers leave the ring with the tag titles.~
*
David Hood: "Wow, the brothers throwing a bombshell already at the start of the season. Looks like their going to try and heat up the competition in the tag team ranks by offering title shots starting next week."
*
Matt Scott: "What I tell you? Their idiots. Next week they'll lose the titles and this idiocy will be over."
*
David Hood: "Idiocy? How is it stupid to try and get more competition in the division? And how can you be so sure that someone will beat them?"
*
Matt Scott: "Because I'm the awesome Matt Scott and I say their idiots, that's why."
*
David Hood: "Right, Matt. Keep on living in your fantasy world...."

If you have nothing better to do

In all seriousness though, we're trying to go with this to kinda bulk up the tag division and make it a bit more active so we don't mind throw together teams but would be cool if the teams would stick with the division so we could work more long term storylines into it.

argo and slugger teaming up for the first time ever and taking the titles on the first try? i think i hear new champs in the house!!

of cause i kind you should at least have them for one week anyway. this is a good idea cant wait to see how it turns out.
