The Compromise (XFW 7/21)

~Courtney is sat in her office when a knock is heard~

Courtney: "Come in."

~Worthy enters the office~
*
Worthy: "You wanted to see me."
*
Courtney: "Yes I did, so take a seat."
*
~Worthy takes the seat and throws it to one side~
*
Worthy: "No thanks I prefer to stand."
*
Courtney: "Very well then, for weeks now you've been trying to take my job as GM and because you pose a threat to Destiny they have refused you, so I will make you a compromise."
*
Worthy: "I Never compromise. Not even in the face of Armageddon."
*
Courtney: "Wait, just hear me out first."
*
Worthy: "Go on I'm listening."
*
Courtney: "If you join Justin in his quest to destroy Destiny then I will make you Vice-GM if you succeed."
*
Worthy: "Interesting, but do you have the authority to do so?"
*
Courtney: "I'm the current GM and as long as Sentinel is out of the picture then yes I do have the authority."
*
Worthy: "Okay then, but whats in it for you?"
*
Courtney: "I want to bring order and control to XFE by any means necessary."
*
Worthy: "Well Gobeer believes that Destiny using Strength Through Purity, Purity Through Faith along with the help of the corrupt XFE management will bring order and control to this wrestling organization through Totalitarianism, so how can I trust you when the rest of XFE management are willing to cooperate with Destiny to bring about that order and control?"
*
Courtney: "Sadly you don't as I still answer to XFE management which is why I need Destiny taking care of."
*
Worthy: "Fair enough, I will accept your deal."
*
~Worthy shakes Courtney's hand but before he lets go he has something else to say~

Worthy: "But mark my words, if this is a double cross then I will bring anarchy to XFE and rebel against this oppressive regime because it's time the people of XFE played by there own rules and not that of XFE management."
*
~Worthy pulls his hand away and walks out of the office, slamming the door on his way out~

Courtney (to herself): "I don't like the sound of that last part?"
