Wigging out on XFA 10/10

~The X-Tron springs to life~
*
~Tick and Arthur are walking down a corridor back stage~
*
Tick: "It sure is good to have you back by my side, little buddy. After all, what is a hero without his sidekick? You're my moral compass, you keep my bearing at true good. A veritable lighthouse, that keeps me safe from the rocky shores. Little Wooden Boy just doesn't provide me with the same kind of sound advice."
*
Arthur: "I get your point Tick. I caught the highlight reels too. That's why I am here. Your doctors are worried about you."
*
~Tick stops. One of his antennae stands up, as does one of his eyebrows~
*
Tick: "Eh? I don't follow."
*
Arthur: "Well, when we get back to the apartment after the show, I put them on, so you can see for yourself."
*
~They continue walking~
*
Tick: "Very well, Arthur. I'll prepare the popcorn."
*
Arthur: "You know, Tick, it wouldn't hurt you to take this a little more seriously, your credibility as a hero is on the line here."
*
Tick: "I don't think we have to worry about that Old Chum, I think my actions speak for themselves. I know you are new here, but I think I know my audience."
*
Arthur: "You really just don't have a clue, do you?"
*
~Elisha Cuthbert approaches them, mic in hand~
*
Elisha Cuthbert: "Arthur, Arthur! I don't suppose we could have a quick word with you. There has been a lot of confusion over the actions of Tick over the last few weeks. Could you shed some light on them, and perhaps your relationship with Tick?"
*
~A hand taps Tick on the shoulder and her turns around~
*
Arthur: "Well, um, well, you see, it's a bit of a delicate topic."
*
Elisha Cuthbert: "I think the audience has earned their right to hear it."
*
~Tick turns around again, facing the camera. Red Bull now in hand~
*
Arthur: "Well, you see, many people have wondered where The Sentinel found my burly companion here..."
*
~Tick downs the can, and crushes it in his hand. With the other he delivers a sumo palm strike to Arthur, sending him into the corridor wall~
*
Tick: "Let's not let Arthur put words into my mouth. You see, Arthur is a vegetarian, and as you saw last week, his attack has no bite. Me, I'm hungry. I need meat, and it's feeding time. Time for the hunt."
*
~Tick raises his arm, and makes a sweeping motion, Elisha and the cameraman quickly make way for him, and he speeds off down the corridor. Arthur slowly makes his way back to his feet~
*
Arthur: "Oh no, this is worse than I thought. The beast is on his back again. We have to stop him."
*
~Fade to Black~

Hilarious! I thought you were going for a too quick turn back to face, but damn I was wrong. I like the conversation and that... well... that Tick obviously is nuts!

Yeah, Arthur coming has forced my hand a little earlier than I had anticipated. Still, interesting times lay ahead.
