| Hi all. I just wonder if anyone can explain what initiative is good for? I see some guys have bought extra initiative via SAs, and I can't understand what it's for. This is the only stat I have no clue what it means. When is it used? | |

| Initiative = the chance at getting in the upper hand. Like, at the very start of a match or when countering a move. | |

| The way I understand it, when you block or dodge a normal move, you get the initiative by default. It's just after pinning moves and sub moves that initiative seems to play a part in who gets the next move. | |

I believe blocks and dodge's can also lead to a "test of strength" (or whatever it's called here in the game) where initiative plays a part in determining who wins. | |
