I had an idea for a PPV the other day. Somthing a bit different in the form of a 'high class' PPV.
It could have a 'night at the opera' or 'Casino Royale' theme. It could also be tied in with XFWs and XFAs end of year party (December or January season?).
This would open the way for some funny roleplaying for the less than classy members of the roster. And some specialty matches (and yes I did get most of these ideas from reading wikipedia):
- Tuxedo and or Ballgown matches
- Roulette 'table' match
- A signapore cane or nightstick style match with billiard/snooker cues
- Spin the Wheel, Make the Deal, match that starts with a roulette wheel being spun to decide the match type and/or what weapons are permitted.
- A threeway dance match renamed a three way waltz?
- We could have wrestlers crowned as 'King and Queen of the ball' at the end
The arena could be transformed with a chandelier above the ring (which might reature in an RP). Also some wreslters could bring 'dates' to the event which helps with storylines for outside interferance in matches.
